Morgan L. Levy, MD
Dr. Levy received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Texas A&M University. He completed medical school and a psychiatry residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He went to UCLA and completed fellowships in geriatric psychiatry and neurobehavior. He received grant funding from The Veteran’s Administration to study Alzheimer disease and is published in numerous medical journals.
He was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1993 and was forced to go on full disability in 2004 so he no longer treats patients or does medical research. Today, he maintains a website entitled Placebo Medicine and speaks primarily to lay audiences on the intersection of alternative and mainstream medicine through the new neuroscience of the placebo effect.
